was born on July 9, 1979 in Baku (Azerbaijan) as the daughter of economics professor Mubariz Gurbanov and doctor Sadagat Gurbanova. After school, she studied commercial activities in the raw materials market and in the service sector at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, which she completed in 2000 with a master’s degree for the Russian sector.
But this wasn’t her thing.
In the same year, she studied solo singing at the Baku Music Academy and completed this in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree for the Russian sector.
In 2006 she appeared as a soloist with the aria “O mio babbino” from Cianni Schicchi by Ciacomo Puccini, with the polonaise Philine “Je suis Titania” from Mignon by Ambroise Thomas, with the aria “Rosina” from The Barber of Seville by Gioachino Rossini, with the aria “Oscar” from The Masked Ball by Giacomo Puccini, with the aria “Quando m’en vo, Muzetta” from La Bohème by Giacomo Puccini and with the “Gülchöhra” aria from the operetta Arshin mal Alan by Üzeyir Hacibeyov together with the concertmaster Melahet Ismailova on stage in the Boffrand Hall of the Senate of Paris.
